Skip Hire

The sizes of the skips range from 8cu yard builder up to a large 52 cu Yard. The skip needs an approximate 9ft entrance and the skip is approximately 12 ft long which makes it suitable for many drives at the front of the home but it may also be a good idea to let us know what type of drive you have has some of the lorries can be quite heavy.

If you are unable to get the skip on to you drive for whatever reason then you will need to take a look at the nearest road. You should also know that you will require a permit to have the skip put on to the public highway. This permit would take around 3 working days to arrive. Once your skip has been filled if you need a skip exchange or need our team of staff to make an collection on a certain date then you will need to let us know when ordering or give our staff at least 1 days notice.

If you are hiring a skip for commercial reasons then the notice that we require can be the same day or next day depending on what time of day you order. We recommend that all of our customers that would like to hire a skip book at least two days in advance before you require it. This will also help us to make sure we have a skip available for when you require it.

Your skip will be situated in a safe place causing as little obstruction to other road users as possible. Most of the skips are usually situated on the drive at the front of your home or on the near by road side.

For private skip hire if the skip is going to be filled with hardcore materials or soil then the largest size of skip you can hire from us is 8 cubic Yds. The different types of Waste you put into the skip is also important for a different reasons when ordering from our company. Please remember we are not allowed to carry pain, asbestos, car batteries or oils unless we know in advance. It is always a good idea to make sure you book a skip large enough because underestimating the size you need may be a little more expensive and it will take you longer to get the job done. Please note that skip hire is usually higher during the weekends and holidays so please ensure you book and plan well in advance.
